Phlebotomist

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for provider care
• perform venipunctures and laboratory blood draws as ordered
• collect routine specimens
• perform laboratory quality controls and basic laboratory procedures
• route specimens through vendor systems
• review charts for laboratory results
• record in-house lab results in the electronic medical record
• maintain laboratory supplies and cleanliness
• document work and communicate with the patient care team.
