What you'll do

• Manage the nursing unit and coordinate nursing care
• work with the Director of Nursing on care policies, procedures, and standards
• support staff evaluations, orientation, development, and scheduling
• coordinate patient medical and nursing regimens
• assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• communicate with patients, families, and health professionals
• ensure physician orders are implemented
• support incident reporting, emergency procedures, and confidentiality
• assume responsibility for nursing services in the Director of Nursing's absence.
