Family Practice Physician

The Family Practice Physician role is onsite in Providence, RI. Compensation is not specified. The physician provides comprehensive primary care across the life cycle, addresses preventive health needs, makes appropriate referrals, and contributes to quality improvement and staff education in support of the health center’s care standards.

What you'll do

• Perform physical examinations
• treat illnesses, injuries, and health problems
• address preventive health needs within training and specialty
• refer patients to specialists, hospitals, or clinics when appropriate
• provide first aid and stabilize patients as clinically necessary before referral
• participate in medical audits, performance improvement, peer review, and relevant committees
• provide in-service training to staff as needed.

Why this role
