What you'll do

• Oversee maintenance and repair of Class 8 commercial vehicles and vocational equipment
• ensure diagnosis, repair, and preventive maintenance of vehicle systems
• develop maintenance schedules
• review repair orders, work quality, labor efficiency, and parts use
• monitor lifecycle costs and recommend replacement or refurbishment
• maintain DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and environmental compliance
• coordinate emergency repairs
• manage vendors
• monitor productivity and downtime
• train mechanics.
