Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) — Cardiology

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is onsite in Winchester, VA, Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Pay is $18.71–$21.52 per hour. The CNA supports the clinical team at Winchester Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. The CNA contributes to patient-centered care by preparing patients and clinical records, collecting and documenting vital signs, performing EKGs, and assisting providers. The role also supports appointment coordination and safe, confidential clinic operations.

What you'll do

• Greet and escort patients
• prepare appointment notes
• measure and document vital signs in the electronic medical record
• perform EKGs according to protocols
• review interim health history and alert providers to significant changes
• organize records and forms
• assist providers during examinations and procedures
• answer calls and schedule appointments, tests, and referrals
• maintain supplies and clean examination rooms
• follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
