The Travel Nurse (Charge Nurse) role is onsite in Taos, New Mexico, for a 13-week assignment with possible renewal; available 12-hour shifts are 6 a.m.–6 p.m. or 6 p.m.–6 a.m. Compensation is not specified. The role supports Taos Healthcare’s nursing home team and its work to provide quality care to residents. The Charge Nurse oversees the nursing shift, supports staff, and helps ensure positive clinical outcomes and resident and family satisfaction. The role also provides direct resident care when needed, manages nursing personnel, assesses staff performance, and communicates shift updates to the Director of Nursing.

What you'll do

• Oversee delivery of clinical care and resident/family satisfaction during the supervisory shift
• serve as a resource to facility staff
• provide direct resident care when required, including medication administration and treatments according to facility policy
• manage nursing personnel and assess performance against unit standards
• conduct shift staff meetings and update the Director of Nursing.
