Nonprofit Payroll Specialist (UKG)

The Nonprofit Payroll Specialist (UKG) role is hybrid in Washington, DC, with pay of $30–$35 per hour. The office schedule is one day per week. Addison Group’s Finance & Accounting team connects candidates with hiring organizations and provides employment support. The specialist supports accurate, timely semi-monthly payroll for approximately 440–465 employees. The role reconciles payroll information across UKG/UltiPro and JAMIS Prime, audits time and payroll records, resolves discrepancies, and supports payroll reporting and related accounting processes.

What you'll do

• Process and support semi-monthly payroll
• maintain employee tax, direct deposit, benefit deduction, and retirement withholding information
• coordinate with the payroll vendor
• serve as primary backup for payroll processing
• audit timesheets and resolve discrepancies
• enter and reconcile data between UKG/UltiPro and JAMIS Prime
• analyze payroll data and compile labor reports
• prepare journal entries and support payroll account reconciliations
• coordinate payroll matters with HR and taxing authorities
• conduct payroll orientation and timekeeping training.
