This role exists to perform diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operating ultrasound equipment and preparing the room with necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.

What you'll do

• Individual performs diagnostic ultrasound and NIVA procedures, operates ultrasound equipment, and prepares the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
• Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel supporting the Mission, Vision, and Values of the company.
• Is able to provide care to his/her assigned patients and assures a safe patient care environment.
• Maintains technical skills and is responsible for using equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety.
• Secondary duties include clerical duties, receptionist, answering phones, scheduling patients, ordering supplies, stocking the department, maintaining files and general cleaning.
• Assists in collecting data for PI monitors and conducting QC on equipment.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program

Experience

Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience
