Virtual Academic Coach

Job overview

The Virtual Academic Coach works remotely with high school and college students across the country. Compensation is $30–$45 per hour. Galin Education’s coaches help students build academic and executive-function skills for school and life. The coach works one-on-one with students to strengthen planning, time management, prioritization, organization, note-taking, studying, and reading strategies, while building supportive relationships and helping students address challenges.

What you'll do

• Coach students individually on planning, time management, prioritization, organization, note-taking, studying, and reading
• build relationships that support student confidence
• communicate with parents in person, by phone, and by email.

Why this role

At least five hours of availability per week and a 12-month commitment are required; experience with grades 9–12 and college students, particularly those with ADHD, anxiety, or learning struggles, is preferred.
