The Assistant Teacher, Infant Classroom position is in person in Reston, VA, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and pays $16 to $20 per hour. Working with the Lead Teacher, the assistant helps create a safe, engaging, developmentally rich classroom for infants. The role supports learning activities, child development documentation, family relationships, and ongoing improvement of classroom experiences.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Lead Teacher to plan and deliver project-based learning experiences
• observe, document, and track children’s growth using classroom technology
• prepare lesson materials and contribute curriculum ideas
• maintain children’s safety and well-being
• build relationships with families through meetings, events, and community activities
• collaborate with educators to improve classroom experiences.
