Human Resources Verification Specialist (HIM)

Job overview

The Human Resources Verification Specialist role is 100% onsite in Seattle, WA, with a Monday–Friday schedule of 7:30 AM–4:00 PM and some flexibility after training. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour. The role supports a high-priority employee records audit for a healthcare organization. The specialist reviews employment histories and calculates qualifying experience under established union contract requirements. Accurate reconciliation and documentation help the HR team resolve record discrepancies and complete the audit within project deadlines.

What you'll do

• Review approximately 1,000 employee resumes and personnel files
• evaluate positions, responsibilities, and dates to calculate qualifying experience
• reconcile employment information across resumes, HR systems, and supporting documents
• identify discrepancies and work with HR colleagues to resolve them
• document calculations and audit findings
• use Oracle and iCIMS to review and maintain employment history information.
