The Senior Estimator – Industrial Insulation and Business Development role is onsite in Vallejo, CA, with an annual pay range of $154,000–$220,000. D2 Industrial Services has crews and capabilities to execute major industrial projects, and this role supports its efforts to identify, estimate, and win that work. The position leads estimating for large industrial insulation projects, developing accurate, competitive bids and coordinating with customers, operations, and project management. It also uses industry relationships to identify opportunities and support business growth, while helping transition awarded work to operations.
What you'll do
- Review plans, specifications, drawings, scopes, and bid requirements
- estimate labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other costs
- prepare bids and identify risks, assumptions, exclusions, and opportunities
- attend customer and pre-bid meetings, job walks, and site visits
- coordinate with operations and project management
- manage estimates and deadlines
- maintain customer and industry relationships
- identify upcoming projects
- support related services such as scaffolding and abatement when appropriate
- mentor less-experienced estimators
- support project handoff.
