The Toddler Teacher — Early Childhood Education role is onsite in Ramsey, NJ. Pay is $17 per hour, and the schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday. The Learning Experience – Ramsey’s early childhood education team supports toddlers’ learning, development, and daily care. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing classroom and implements age-appropriate activities and the L.E.A.P. Curriculum. The role supports language, independence, social skills, and individual developmental milestones while maintaining routines, communicating with families, and following New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Create a safe, nurturing, engaging toddler classroom
• implement age-appropriate activities and the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• engage children through art, music, movement, sensory play, and hands-on learning
• encourage language development, independence, and positive social skills
• assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
• maintain routines and positive classroom guidance
• observe development and support individual milestones
• build relationships with children and families
• maintain a clean, organized classroom
• follow New Jersey childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements.
