What you'll do
- Assist with interviewing, hiring recommendations, and staff scheduling
- participate in orientation and in-service education
- participate in performance reviews and personnel files
- support regulatory documentation and implementation of policies and procedures
- assist with care planning
- make daily rounds to direct care-team work and observe for hazards
- support continuous quality improvement and corrective follow-up
- monitor and report changes in resident status
- complete chart audits under the DNS’s direction
- ensure infection-control techniques
- communicate with families, residents, and staff.
