Vehicle Patrol Officer — Site Patrol Driver

The Vehicle Patrol Officer role is onsite at the Westbound I-80 Truck Scales construction project in Fairfield, CA. Compensation is $20–$21 per hour. The role provides overnight security for an active Kiewit-managed construction project. The role exists to protect project personnel, equipment, and property through continuous vehicle patrols, access monitoring, incident documentation, and appropriate emergency response. It maintains a visible security presence while reporting hazards and suspicious activity to dispatch and management.

What you'll do

• Conduct vehicle patrols throughout the construction site
• monitor entrances and restricted areas
• complete QR-code checkpoint scans
• document patrols, incidents, and site conditions using approved applications
• monitor for unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and safety hazards
• maintain visitor and contractor logs
• communicate with dispatch and management
• complete daily activity and incident reports
• assist emergency responders with site access when requested
• complete vehicle inspections.
