What you'll do

• Record inmate admission information
• search inmates and property
• book and fingerprint prisoners
• safeguard belongings
• screen for medical or psychological concerns and report them
• control disruptive behavior
• escort and transport inmates
• maintain counts
• enforce rules and document violations
• inspect cells and premises
• distribute food, laundry, mail, and supplies
• coordinate court commitments and lawful releases.
