The Technical Documentation Specialist — FAA Data Integration role is remote for candidates residing in one of the listed states, with compensation of $95,000–$112,000 per year. The role supports the FAA Chief Data Office Enterprise Information & Data Integration Program (EIDIP). The specialist creates and maintains clear, accurate documentation for enterprise platforms and modernization work, translating technical, policy, and operational information for varied audiences. What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain architecture and technical design documents, SOPs, runbooks, user guides, security artifacts, process documentation, training materials, and knowledge-base content
  • interview stakeholders to collect and validate information
  • document workflows and technical processes
  • edit for accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and readability
  • maintain version-controlled repositories, templates, review cycles, and approval records
  • coordinate documentation with Agile and technical delivery teams.
