Mental Health Employment Specialist

The Mental Health Employment Specialist role is onsite in Greensboro, NC, with an hourly pay range of $18–$23. Sanctuary House’s IPS Supported Employment team helps adults living with severe and persistent mental illness pursue employment goals in community settings. The specialist provides individualized job-search and workplace support, builds relationships with local employers, and collaborates with behavioral health and community partners to help clients obtain and maintain competitive employment aligned with their goals and preferences.

What you'll do

• Support adults with severe and persistent mental illness
• assist with obtaining and maintaining competitive employment
• develop employer relationships through community outreach
• learn about hiring needs and job opportunities
• provide job-search support, interview preparation, and workplace coaching
• collaborate with providers, peer staff, families, and housing partners
• attend weekly IPS team meetings
• and complete service notes within 24 hours.
