Associate Veterinarian

Job overview

The Associate Veterinarian role is onsite in Redmond, WA, with a stated annual base salary of $125,000–$160,000, plus commission. The veterinarian will join the opening team of a new Cara Veterinary hospital in downtown Redmond, scheduled to open in late Fall 2026. The veterinarian provides medical, surgical, and dental care for pets while building relationships with clients and supporting the hospital team. The role also helps establish the new hospital’s culture, care standards, and patient experience.

What you'll do

• Examine patients and perform diagnostic tests and medical, surgical, and dental procedures
• recommend referrals when appropriate
• communicate findings, treatment plans, and prognosis to clients
• maintain complete medical records and required logs
• coordinate care with colleagues and support staff
• provide consultation and instruction to team members
• support client education and hospital operations.
