Trade Compliance Coordinator

The Trade Compliance Coordinator role is onsite at Urschel’s global headquarters in Chesterton, IN. Compensation is not specified. Urschel designs and manufactures industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries. Reporting to the Global Logistics Supervisor, the coordinator supports import and export compliance through documentation, screening, recordkeeping, and regulatory activities. The work helps maintain compliant trade transactions and provides support to Sales, Customer Service, and Shipping.

What you'll do

• Support import and export activities through documentation review, recordkeeping, and transaction monitoring in ACE
• conduct denied-party screening and assist with end-use and end-user verification
• maintain HTS, Schedule B, ECCN, and FDA product classification data
• assist with customs corrections, regulatory filings, audits, government inquiries, and other compliance work
• support Sales, Customer Service, and Shipping and escalate potential risks.
