Mobile Service Technician, Bridge Inspection Units

Job overview

The Mobile Service Technician role is based in Duluth, MN, with most work performed at customer locations. Compensation is $29–$35 per hour. Aspen Aerials makes bridge inspection equipment, and this role services its Bridge Inspection Units (UBIUs). The technician inspects, maintains, repairs, and tests UBIUs, while also training users and production personnel. Customer service, reporting, and equipment readiness support safe and effective operation of the units.

What you'll do

• Communicate with customers about equipment concerns
• travel to customer sites to inspect, train on, and repair UBIUs
• prepare and review inspection reports
• process service, warranty, inspection, and expense reports
• perform electrical and hydraulic diagnostics
• inspect units before delivery
• and support production personnel training. Travel may be domestic or international
• typical work weeks are Monday–Friday or Monday–Saturday, with weekends at home.
