The Production Team Lead — 2nd Shift role is onsite at facilities in Auburn Hills and Pontiac, MI. Pay is $19–$25 per hour based on experience. The lead supports Peninsula Plastics’ manufacturing of reusable plastic packaging solutions.

What you'll do

• Lead and support approximately 2–4 machine operators
• train employees on operating procedures and safety
• monitor production progress and help meet targets
• communicate equipment and production concerns to supervisors
• assist with performance evaluations
• set up and adjust thermoforming machinery
• operate equipment and troubleshoot issues
• maintain production logs
• support clean and safe work areas and process improvements.

Why this role

Second shift hours are 3:30 p.m.–2:00 a.m., Monday–Thursday, with mandatory overtime currently required Fridays. Injection molding experience is required at minimum; thermoforming experience is preferred. Work sites are approximately one mile apart.
