Plant Operator, Renewable Natural Gas

The Plant Operator role is onsite in Weidman, MI, with compensation of $34 per hour. BerQ RNG works to capture biogas and produce renewable natural gas as part of North America’s clean energy future. This role operates and maintains equipment at the renewable natural gas facility to sustain plant uptime, product quality, and safe, compliant production. The operator monitors and adjusts digester and upgrading equipment, performs maintenance and quality checks, keeps operating records, and responds to emergencies.

What you'll do

• Monitor, operate, adjust, and repair digester and RNG upgrading equipment
• perform startup and shutdown procedures
• collaborate with engineering on process optimization
• test manure and product gas quality
• maintain equipment and coordinate repairs
• follow safety protocols
• keep production, equipment, and maintenance records
• respond to emergencies.
