CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in San Jose, CA. Pay is $20 or more per hour, based on experience. StenTech’s manufacturing tooling team produces precision parts and supports efficient manufacturing processes. The machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment to make parts to engineering drawings and specifications, checks quality and dimensions, and performs routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. The role works with engineers and production colleagues to maintain accurate output, safe operations, and an organized work area.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts to drawings and specifications
• set up and calibrate equipment
• monitor quality, accuracy, and production requirements
• perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot basic operational issues
• read blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• use precision measuring tools and basic calculations
• safely operate hand tools, panel saws, and production equipment
• fabricate parts and fixtures
• package finished products
• collaborate with engineers and production staff
• maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• follow safety policies.
