Mental Health Technician

The Mental Health Technician role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with pay of $21–$25 per hour. Night shifts run from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.; full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Community First Medical Center is opening a new 24-bed adult Behavioral Health Unit. The technician supports patients during their mental health care and works alongside nurses, psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other behavioral health professionals. The role contributes to a safe, collaborative, recovery-focused treatment environment.

What you'll do

• Support patients in the adult Behavioral Health Unit and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
• work effectively in a fast-paced behavioral health environment
• maintain current BLS certification or obtain it upon hire.
