What you'll do

• Administer oral and IV contrast
• evaluate patients for allergic reactions
• place correct IV for the exam. Operate MedRad power injector. Operate and understand CT scanning equipment
• practice ALARA standards
• understand physician protocols and scan appropriately. Assist interventional radiologists with procedures. Maintain a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens. Move, lift, and assist patients on and off the scanner table.
