What you'll do

• Monitor census and resident financial information
• prepare and submit Medicare, Medicaid, managed-care, HMO, and private-pay claims
• follow up on outstanding balances and unpaid claims
• post cash
• resolve billing discrepancies and denials
• communicate with residents and families
• coordinate with third-party payers and facility departments
• maintain records
• assist with month-end billing and reporting
• protect confidential information under HIPAA and facility policies.
