The Commercial Pump Rig Hand role is onsite in Headland, AL, with work at job sites and overnight travel when needed. Pay is $20 per hour. Working alongside pump installers and rig operators, the rig hand helps install, remove, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial water well pump systems. The role contributes to safe, efficient, and timely completion of field projects through equipment handling, site preparation, and crew support.

What you'll do

• Assist with commercial water well pump installations and removals
• handle pump column pipe, drop pipe, electrical cable, and related equipment
• help set and pull pump assemblies
• operate tools and rig equipment as directed
• move and maintain equipment
• assist with troubleshooting
• maintain a safe, organized work area.

Why this role

Normal hours are 6:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday; crews average about 55 hours weekly and may work occasional emergency weekends. Overnight travel is required when job sites are outside daily driving distance.
