What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
• maintain fixtures, cutting tools, and workholding
• calculate feeds, speeds, and machining parameters
• interpret drawings and work instructions
• machine parts to tolerance
• edit G-code, M-code, offsets, and tool compensation
• troubleshoot issues
• monitor tool wear
• inspect parts with precision measuring instruments
• follow safety procedures
• and collaborate on process improvements.
