The Packaging Operator role is onsite in Missouri City, TX, in Polymaker’s 40,000-square-foot facility. Compensation is $15 per hour. Polymaker develops, produces, and markets materials for 3D printing and manages production and distribution of filament for North America from this facility. The operator labels and packages products and documents production against the shift plan. By following work instructions and environmental, health, safety, and quality practices, the role supports reliable packaging and distribution of 3D-printing filament.

What you'll do

• Prepare cardboard, paper, and plastic packing materials
• pack and label semi-finished products
• operate a vacuum sealing machine
• palletize packaged products
• operate a pallet jack or similar non-driven mobile equipment
• document production rates against the shift plan and complete work-order information
• document equipment, material, and quality issues
• follow process work instructions and company environmental, health, and safety standards
• stop work if unsafe conditions are identified
• communicate improvement opportunities.

Why this role

Full-time hourly position reporting to the Shift Lead. Schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, 3–4 shifts per week on an alternating schedule. Previous manufacturing or refinery facility experience is expected; packing or quality experience is preferred.
