Environmental Services Technician

Job overview

The Environmental Services Technician role is onsite in Lutherville-Timonium, MD. Pay is $16–$19 per hour. The position supports Mercy Ridge Retirement Community and reports to the Director of Environmental Services. The technician maintains the cleanliness and appearance of common and non-residential areas and assists with facility needs such as event setups, move-in preparation, and moving items. The work helps provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

What you'll do

• Clean common and non-residential areas, including floors, upholstery, elevators, walls, surfaces, and restrooms
• remove waste and grounds debris
• wash windows
• assist residents with baggage or trash
• clean resident carpets or upholstery and potentially fill in as a housekeeper in resident homes
• support cleanup of leaks, spills, floods, and fire
• assist facilities staff during emergencies
• help with setups, breakdowns, move-in preparation, and moving items.
