What you'll do

• Conduct initial, routine, and follow-up evaluations
• assess and manage medical, psychiatric, and behavioral health conditions within scope of practice
• develop and review individualized treatment plans
• prescribe and manage medications as appropriate
• monitor treatment response, adverse effects, interactions, and clinical risk
• manage changes in clinical status and escalate care when needed
• order and follow up on tests and investigations
• collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians and facility teams
• participate in care planning and family consultations
• coordinate transitions and follow-up
• educate patients, families, and staff
• maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Why this role

Requires an MD or DO, current unrestricted Virginia medical license, board certification or eligibility in psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, family medicine, internal medicine, or a related specialty, and completion of an accredited residency.
