Patient Transportation Driver

Job overview

The Patient Transportation Driver role is onsite in Manassas, VA. Compensation is $17–$20 per hour. The position supports Patient Transportation Services by providing safe, non-emergency transportation to Lunera Health Center facilities.

What you'll do

• Provide professional, caring service to patients
• transport patients safely while following traffic laws and center policies
• inspect the vehicle at the start of each shift and conduct weekly and monthly inspections
• report vehicle defects
• maintain patient, mileage, and incident logs
• provide information for Medicaid transportation billing
• and communicate unexpected arrival delays.

Why this role

Requires a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, successful drug or alcohol screening, and a high school diploma or equivalent. One to two years of transportation experience is required, preferably patient transportation; Spanish fluency is a plus.
