Senior Software Engineer (SWE-3). This is an onsite position in Laurel, MD. The pay range is $107,900.00 - $195,050.00 per year. Leidos is a technology leader serving government and commercial customers. This role involves creating custom analytics to perform at scale, working closely with data scientists and end users to develop innovative analytic tools for discovery and tradecraft around critical global challenges, and delivering solutions focused on operationalizing data science.

What you'll do

• Work directly with data scientists and mission analysts to solve demanding strategic problems. Perform end-to-end software engineering to prototype, develop, integrate, test, and deploy tools and tradecraft into the customer’s corporate architecture. Utilize Jupyter Notebooks, Java MapReduce, Python PySpark. Apply statistical analysis and machine learning fundamentals. Use customer tools, architecture, data flow, and big data. Work with Jira, Confluence, Gitlab
• experience with Agile methodologies.
