MSS Developer Engineer

Job overview

The MSS Developer Engineer role is onsite at Scott Air Force Base in O’Fallon, IL. Compensation is $135,000–$165,000 per year. What you'll do

• Build and maintain operator-facing dashboards, applications, and decision surfaces
• create self-service data exploration and automated insight workflows
• develop data pipelines, ontology, and access controls on MSS and Palantir
• integrate external data sources
• support AI/AIP workflows
• create visualizations, interactive tools, alerts, and monitoring
• optimize data models and queries
• provide day-to-day operator support
• document data sources and analytical methods.

Why this role

Requires four or more years of software or data engineering experience, including at least 1.5 years with Palantir Foundry, Gotham, AIP, or MSS; an active U.S. government security clearance; and onsite work in a SCIF. U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required at minimum.
