Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst role is onsite in Tinley Park, IL. Compensation is $85,000–$105,000 per year, with yearly merit increases based on performance. The role supports NuMark Credit Union’s mission to enrich members’ financial lives. The analyst protects the credit union’s systems and information by investigating security events, managing vulnerabilities and third-party risk, and supporting incident response. The work also produces the documentation and evidence needed for audits and regulatory examinations while coordinating with IT, the managed security provider, and business teams.

What you'll do

• Triage and investigate Microsoft Defender XDR alerts and managed SOC/MDR escalations
• support incident containment, evidence collection, root-cause analysis, and reporting
• analyze phishing and email threats
• hunt for threats using KQL
• manage vulnerability scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and exceptions
• track penetration test and audit findings
• monitor secure configurations
• prepare examination and audit evidence
• maintain security policies and exception registers
• support data protection, security metrics, vendor risk documentation, awareness training, secure design advice, and continuity testing.
