The Assistant Manager — Coffee Shop role is onsite in Waxahachie, TX, with pay of $16.25–$19.75 per hour plus average hourly tips of $4–$6, based on home shop volume and experience. The role supports White Rhino Coffee Shops and reports to the Shop Manager. The assistant manager leads assigned shifts, develops employees, and helps maintain shop standards and guest service. By supporting staffing, sales, inventory, food safety, and daily operations, the role helps the shop meet its operational and business goals.

What you'll do

• Serve as Manager on Duty and lead daily shop operations during assigned shifts
• coach, train, and support Shift Leads and team members
• support staffing, scheduling, labor management, and shift coverage
• assist with onboarding and employee development
• support sales, labor, food cost, and other performance goals
• assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste management
• maintain food safety, sanitation, security, and operational standards
• resolve guest and employee concerns
• complete opening, closing, cash handling, and administrative tasks
• support marketing initiatives
• maintain operations in the Shop Manager’s absence when assigned.
