Registered Nurse (RN) — Day Shift

The Registered Nurse (RN) — Day Shift role is onsite in Atwood, KS, and pays $35–$41.23 per hour. The nurse provides care to assigned patients at Rawlins County Health Center and reports to the Director of Nursing. The RN delivers and coordinates patient care during a 12-hour shift, monitors patient conditions, and implements provider orders. The role also supports safe care through accurate documentation, medication management, collaboration with providers, and guidance of assigned aides or LPNs.

What you'll do

• Provide direct patient care, assessments, treatments, and medication management
• document patient activities and changes
• make regular patient rounds
• coordinate with attending providers
• manage intravenous sites, medications, and fluids within certification
• respond to Code Blue situations as directed
• maintain care plans
• assign patient-care responsibilities to aides
• rotate in the Emergency Department and potentially float to other departments as appropriate to scope of practice.

Why this role
