School-Based Therapist

The School-Based Therapist role is onsite in Saint Genevieve, MO, with annual pay ranging from $50,620 to $53,120 depending on licensure and experience. Community Counseling Center provides clinical services to children and adolescents identified by school staff. The therapist delivers mental health care, coordinates referrals and services with families, schools, and other providers, and documents treatment. The role supports coordinated care by working with school staff and the family system to address each child’s needs.

What you'll do

• Provide direct mental health services and referrals
• coordinate services between schools and CCC and with other providers
• create a calendar of therapeutic activities
• complete treatment plans, progress notes, DLA-20 updates, and chart requirements
• involve families and schools in treatment planning
• follow up on missed appointments
• participate in the on-call rotation
• document to agency and program standards
• transport clients when necessary and appropriate.
