The Healthy Start Family Outreach Specialist role is an onsite position in Gainesville, FL, paying $20.91–$23.32 per hour. Kids Central’s mission is to protect children, support families, and engage communities; this position is funded through the Healthy Start contract to improve pregnancy outcomes. As the program’s first point of contact, the specialist contacts clients, schedules and completes initial face-to-face assessments, provides referrals, and registers clients for continued services. The role also supports program administration and helps connect families with resources and a Family Care Coordinator.

What you'll do

• Answer and relay calls and messages

• provide resources and referrals under supervisor direction
• register clients for continued Healthy Start services
• maintain program tracking tools, inventory records, and office materials.
