The role also contributes to the Job Corps program by supporting work-based learning and food-service activities for trainees.

What you'll do

• Keep food preparation, storage, and serving equipment sanitary
• maintain clean and orderly storerooms and refrigeration areas
• set up the dish room and dishwasher
• wash work surfaces and equipment
• scrape and wash dishes
• clean kitchen and cafeteria floors
• remove trash
• set up dining tables
• replenish the service line
• assist with preparing and serving food according to planned menus
• help supervise work-based learning in food service
• support health and wellness events
• respond to student conduct, abilities, and needs.

Why this role
