The After-School Activity Coordinator role is onsite in Alvin, TX, with compensation of $12–$15 per hour. The position supports Communities In Schools of Southeast Harris and Brazoria County’s after-school program; the schedule is Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m., for 20 hours per week. The coordinator facilitates academic, enrichment, and recreational activities while supporting homework and student safety. The role helps students explore interests, reinforce school-day learning, and build creativity, curiosity, and confidence.

What you'll do

• Create a positive learning environment
• guide students through sports, STEM, robotics, coding, culinary arts, and arts and crafts
• support homework and reinforce school-day learning
• supervise students and maintain safe, organized spaces
• observe student progress
• maintain program materials and equipment
• participate in family nights, meetings, trainings, and special events.
