The Registered Nurse, Emergency Services, Night Shift role is onsite in Logan, OH, with a pay range of $31.31–$42.14 per hour. The nurse supports emergency services at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. The schedule is 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with every other weekend rotation. The nurse plans, directs, and evaluates patient care, responds to clinical changes, and implements care plans and physician orders. The role contributes to safe, coordinated care through patient education, medication administration, documentation, infection control, and collaboration with the treatment team.

What you'll do

• Plan, organize, and direct nursing functions for patients
• initiate patient education and care plans
• assess patients and respond to clinical changes
• make nursing assignments appropriate to staff skill levels
• implement physician orders and administer medications and intravenous solutions
• maintain accurate records
• support infection-control and safety procedures
• communicate patient needs and problems to the Nursing Supervisor
• participate in staff orientation and training
• supervise care provided by nonprofessional personnel
• contribute to quality improvement and policy review.
