What you'll do

• Answer medical questions over the phone
• see patients promptly through the hospital's triage approach
• gather patient history, presenting complaint, vitals, and examination findings
• conduct physical examinations and diagnostic measures such as ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies
• diagnose conditions and create diagnostic and therapeutic plans
• communicate diagnoses and treatment options to clients
• prepare estimates
• create and review medical records
• perform minor and major emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures
• educate clients on aftercare and prevention where appropriate.
