The Emerging Leaders SYEP/WLG Coordinator is an in-person role in Flushing, NY, with a Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule. The salary range is $57,500–$62,500 per year. The position supports Commonpoint’s Youth Employment Department and its programs for young people ages 14–24. The coordinator supports successful implementation of the Emerging Leaders component of the Summer Youth Employment Program by managing participant support, engagement, retention, and completion. The role also coordinates worksite relationships, program records, data tracking, and compliance so participants can access employment and educational experiences that build skills and connect them with positive adult role models.

What you'll do

• Manage participant caseloads and conduct check-ins
• identify barriers and coordinate individualized interventions and follow-up
• communicate with participants, employers, and worksite supervisors
• track attendance, placements, retention, and completion
• maintain accurate confidential records and program data
• support DYCD compliance, reporting, monitoring, and audits.
