The Manufacturing Associate – Machine Shop, Second Shift role is onsite in Syracuse, NY. Compensation is $20.48–$25.28 per hour. The role supports production of precision components used in cryogenic systems for quantum technology, scientific research, and other industries. The associate operates machine shop equipment and performs basic mechanical operations to prepare and organize parts for production. Accurate records, routine equipment care, safety practices, and ongoing training support reliable manufacturing operations and quality work.

What you'll do

• Operate and maintain punch presses, grinders, drill presses, shears, cut-off wheels, and band saws
• use hand tools and measuring equipment
• deburr parts, check and chase threads, and glue assemblies
• wash, stage, and organize parts
• stack raw materials and finished goods
• maintain production records
• assist with coolant and oil changes
• follow safety standards and procedures
• maintain a clean and safe workspace
• participate in technical training and continuous improvement.
