Brake Press Operator

The Brake Press Operator role is onsite in Fond du Lac, WI, with stated pay of $20–$25 per hour. The position is with a custom metal fabrication team producing precision components for industrial clients. The operator sets up and runs CNC and hydraulic press brakes to form sheet metal and plate to customer specifications. Accurate blueprint interpretation, tooling setup, dimensional checks, and equipment care support quality fabrication work.

What you'll do

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and hydraulic press brakes
• read engineering blueprints, flat pattern layouts, and GD&T symbols
• select and align punch and die tooling and set tonnage
• perform first-piece and in-process dimensional checks using measuring tools
• complete daily equipment maintenance
• and keep the workstation clean and organized. Requires at least two years of press brake setup and operation experience, blueprint reading, and shop math.
