The Maintenance Technician — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Ashland, VA. Compensation is $32–$36 per hour, plus a $1.50-per-hour second- or third-shift differential. The role supports BC Wood Products’ manufacturing equipment and production operations. The technician maintains and repairs machinery and facility equipment to support safe, reliable production. The work includes troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, equipment installation, and upkeep of a safe workspace.

What you'll do

• Repair machinery and production equipment mechanically and electrically
• follow safety rules and preventive-maintenance procedures
• install new or used operational equipment
• dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment and facilities
• support OSHA safety standards and maintain a neat workspace
• help maintain the shop and office
• use maintenance-management software to manage requests.
