The HVAC/R Service Technician – Journeyman role is onsite in Springfield, IL. The annual compensation package is $65,000–$135,000 per year, depending on experience, ability, and hours worked. AIRmasters serves a diverse and growing customer base with HVAC/R service and installation. The technician services and installs mechanical HVAC/R equipment, diagnosing and repairing systems across commercial and related applications. The work helps customers keep heating, cooling, refrigeration, and associated equipment operating.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, repair, and replace rooftop units, VAV and VRV/VRF systems, boilers, chillers, BAS and DDC controls, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, reach-in refrigeration, exhaust and makeup air systems, and restaurant hot-side equipment
• service and install mechanical HVAC/R equipment.
