Operating Room Scrub Technician, Main OR is an onsite, full-time role in Flagstaff, AZ. Pay is $26.08–$39.12 per hour. The position works in an inpatient, hospital-based environment and supports surgical procedures under the supervision of the Director and/or Clinical Manager or Coordinator. The technician prepares supplies and equipment, assists the health care team during procedures, and provides technical services within the scope of unit-specific skills. The role supports safe, efficient intraoperative care through equipment readiness, accurate documentation, and adherence to hospital and departmental standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare supplies and equipment for interventions
• assist the health care team during surgical procedures
• support safe intraoperative care, including specimen handling and medication labeling and handling
• prepare instruments, sutures, supplies, and equipment for procedures
• anticipate surgeon and patient needs
• maintain and restock equipment
• communicate provider preferences to the RN
• facilitate room turnovers
• assist with physician preference cards
• participate in staff training on aseptic techniques
• maintain documentation and follow safety and regulatory standards.

Why this role

May be hired as certified or non-certified. High school diploma or GED and BLS are required; certified hires must have CST, TS-C, or NCCT certification. One year of OR technician experience or completion of a technician training program is required.
